Learn More About Our Response to COVID-19

Welcome back to another newsletter update! We have been having lots of fun. We are taking residents out to eat every Friday. We ate at Davy Crockett Restaurant, and had a picnic in the Smoky Mountains National Park. We took a field trip to Vonore Tennessee to visit the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum, and Fort Loudon. We were amazed how smart they were to build that fort where they did, but we were wondering how they could stand to wear the clothes they did in this heat. Their clothes were made of wool.

We also had a Community Event where we had live entertainment, food vendors, Native American relics, and carnival games with prizes. We had a great turn out, and the weather was great. We developed some new relationships. We also did some vacation getaway activities. We went to Greece one week. We had Greek salads, music, and learned fun facts about Greece. We set the mood with decor that made you feel like you were really there. We also went to Paris the next week. We had chocolate croissants, and a choice of wine or grape juice. We also had music, and learned fun facts about Paris. We had a Strawberry Sundae Day, and a Watermelon feast one day. Stay tuned for more fun updates on our next newsletter.
