Welcome back to another newsletter update! We have been having lots of fun.

We are taking residents out to eat every Friday. We ate at Davy Crockett Restaurant and had a picnic in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We took a field trip to visit the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum in Vonore, TN, and Fort Loudon. We were amazed how smart they were to build that fort where they did but we wondered how they could stand to wear clothes made out of wool in this heat.

We also had a Community Event with live entertainment, food vendors, Native American relics, and carnival games and prizes. We had a great turn out and the weather was great! We were able to develop some new relationships.

We also did some vacation getaway activities. We went to Greece one week! We had Greek salads, music, and learned fun facts about Greece. We set the mood with decor that made you feel like you were really there. The next week we went to Paris. We had chocolate croissants and a choice of wine or grape juice. We also had music, and learned about the City of Lights! We also had a Strawberry Sundae Day and a Watermelon Feast. Stay tuned for more updates in our next newsletter.
