Mrs. Faye began calling Regency of Morristown her home in June 2023. Faye and the love of her life, Worth Wheeler, were married for 58 years. The couple met at a snack bar where Faye was working. They went on their first date to the movies a little while after that, and the movie they saw was sponsored by a self-rising flour company. During the movie, Mr. Wheeler turned to Faye and said, “If you’re going to marry me, you better know how to make biscuits.” Faye didn’t know how to make biscuits at that time, but she learned and for 58 years he ate the biscuits she made and he loved them!
Worth and Faye have three daughters: Michelle, Julie, and Kristi. Faye’s favorite job was being a housewife and a mother. After her girls grew up and moved out, Mrs. Wheeler started working in the business office at Walter State. Faye now has six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Family, friends, and her church are very important to her, and she loves to read. She has a grand-pup named Jovy that comes and visits often. If you see Faye around, pull up a chair and have a seat.
