We are pleased to say we are finally getting to do a lot more activities since we’ve been able to lift some restrictions, per local and state COVID regulations. For March, we got to open our General Store, and the residents have been so tickled with it. We have also started to allow residents who are fully vaccinated to shop for themselves again at Walmart.
Church services have also started back with Tyler Bryant in the parlor area. We have enjoyed a few gospel music sing-a-longs these last few weeks!
We are also running an activity participation contest! The residents who attend activities will receive tickets for participating. At the end of the month, the resident with the most tickets will receive a gift card prize to a restaurant or store.
We also had our first activities meeting in a long while, and the residents have come up with places to go and restaurants to visit.
The coffee shop is also open again, serving coffee, muffins, cookies, and more. Each day we have more and more freedom to safely engage in more group activities, and we look forward to more in the coming months.
